James & Thika met each other in high school, back in 2006! James was a high school friend of Thika's cousins, Sophan and Kosal. James (Tim) wrote a letter asking Thika to be his girl friend, with a box for "Yes" & "No"... And that's where it all began, at the West Haven Highschool School Library.
