These first ones are close to mine but also close to where the centre starts, but not IN the centre.

1. Hayasa Hotel (less than 10 min walk from me, 10 min from centre) this one is a good balance for location + price . I think this would be my pick if youre happy not being super central. I've never personally stayed there but looks pretty good.

2. Apricot Hotel (5 min from me, 15 min from centre) . Really lovely! A bit more shmancy, nice rooms, beautiful rooftop restaurant and still a good price.

3. In City Hotel - 2 min walk from us but not the best. Most budget friendly option if you want to keep it low cost.

4. President Hotel - Has a pool! Probably still be warm enough to use if the weather gods are on our side. About 7 minute walk from us. 25 minutes from centre, so the least central from these.

5. Dvin Hotel is a luxury one with infinity pool. Bit pretentious but an experience. We go to use the pool sometimes haha

Then there's ones in the centre (kentron) like:

- Best Western Congress is pretty centre, in a slightly more parky area, 15 min from us and still 10 min walk from Republic square.

- Grand Hotel Yerevan. Lovely and old and on Aznavour square, very central.

- Marriott (with pool) on Republic square , completely centre

- Holiday inn, right off Republic Square . Maybe not worth the price haha
