Our story begins freshman year of University at Brock University, when Jacob and I met on the Varsity Swim Team. That first year, we saw each other 24/7, traveling to swim competitions, having many meals together with our swim friends, and going to a lot of team bonding events. It was not until a year later where Jacob started showing interest in more than just a friendship. We soon realized we shared a lot of similarities in what we wanted out of our lives. Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend in September 2018. When school semesters were complete, we managed the long distance relationship through constant communication, Cottage and family visits, and frequent Snapchat calls. During our third year of University in 2020, we were sent back to our homes during COVID-19. It tested us during our relationship and although it was a hard time for everyone, it made our relationship stronger. In 2021, I graduated with my B.Kin degree and in 2022, Jacob graduated with a BBA. We continued to support our individual career paths throughout this time while long distance. In 2023, Jacob and I were on a trip to the UK with his family. He proposed on the sky-deck during formal night and that day was filled with so much love and support. After the amazing trip we had together, we moved in together while Jacob was completing his CPA licensing and I was completing my Masters in Professional Kinesiology. Currently, we are working full-time positions in our respective fields and continue to support each other.

Jacob and I, with out families, cannot wait to celebrate September 20th, 2025 with all of you, and establish this date as celebrating love, happiness, and continued support with our loved ones!
