A Love Story Continued……

It was a warm sunny summer day in Ocean City Md that would change our lives 30 years later forever. Thinking back on that day, and when Derrick and I locked eyes with a smile, a young love story began. Though we had not experienced love or even knew what it felt like, I think we got an idea of what it might look and feel like that day. We got so lost in the moment it was as if no one else was around. We had a space in time for a few hours that felt like an eternity. Derrick and I later lost contact over the years, but never the feeling whenever we crossed paths, which was not until many years later in our adulthood. Now here we are today and after a few run-ins at the grocery store, a couple of phone conversations and a few delicious meals prepared by my love, a young love story continues and has lead us to this point. Now, we’re all grown up and ready to take on another chapter in life, but this time it’s a lifetime commitment with endless memories to create together and a lifetime of love, happiness and joy.💍
