When is the wedding?
Our wedding will take place on March 12th, 2026 from 5 PM to 11 PM.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by January 25th, 2026 whether you plan to attend or not. We need to have a guest list to provide to vendors as we finalize our details.
What if I can't attend?
We will miss you, but we understand. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
What should I do if I'm feeling sick before the wedding?
If you’re feeling unwell in the days leading up to the wedding, please reach out to us. We want to keep everyone safe, so we can make arrangements to keep anyone who may be sick separate from older guests or those with compromised immune systems.
Where is the ceremony and reception?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, California.
Do you have a hotel block?
We initially reserved a room block at Fairfield Inn & Suites Camarillo, but it was released due to low booking interest. We still highly recommend staying there, as it is close to the venue. We will be providing an Uber code in your hotel room to make transportation to and from the celebration easy.
Will transportation be provided?
Guests staying at our recommended hotel will receive an Uber code for rides to and from the venue, so you can leave whenever you're ready. All other guests are responsible for their own transportation. Please drive safely and plan ahead.
Can I bring a plus one?
If you were invited with a guest, your plus one will be listed on your invitation. Otherwise, we hope you’ll still join us and celebrate.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We politely decline any requests for children to be brought to the wedding unless specifically listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
What should I wear?
The dress code is black tie optional, which means you may choose to dress in black-tie attire such as a tuxedo or evening gown, or formal attire such as a suit or appropriate cocktail dress. Avoid wearing colors that are too bright or light, or colors that could appear as white or ivory. Appropriate attire options include full-length gowns, long formal dresses, dressy jumpsuits and pantsuits, tuxedos, and suits. Please navigate to the "Dress Code" tab for plenty of examples.
Will the event be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, as will cocktail hour. The reception will be held indoors, with the option to step outside for lawn games and some fresh air. We recommend checking the weather and planning accordingly.
What if it rains?
Our ceremony is planned to be held outdoors, but don't worry! We have a backup plan in place to ensure everyone stays comfortable and dry. Just bring your smile and we'll take care of the rest.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception venues are accessible for guests with mobility needs. If you require any special accommodations, please contact us in advance so we can help.
Where can I find the registry?
We do not need any gifts, as your presence on our wedding day is the greatest gift we can receive. If you still want to give something, we have a cash fund made available to contribute as much or as little as you'd like. Please note that this is 100% optional. It can be found in the "Registry" tab on our website.
Is parking available at the venue?
There is a parking lot located at the venue with plenty of spots. However, since the venue is also an operating golf course, it may be crowded with guests who are there to golf.
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for seating.
What if I'm late?
Please plan to arrive on time. Guests arriving after the ceremony has begun will be asked to wait until it ends before joining the reception. This ensures our ceremony isn’t interrupted and everyone can fully enjoy the moment.
Will the wedding be unplugged?
Yes, the ceremony will be unplugged. We ask that you keep phones and cameras away so everyone can be fully present. If you do decide to take photos during the reception, please pay attention to the photographers’ positions to avoid getting in the way of their shots.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes, we are hosting an open bar with beer, wine, and cocktails. Please enjoy responsibly so everyone can have a safe and fun celebration. We will also serve nonalcoholic options for guests who are choosing to abstain.
Will there be a assigned seating?
Yes, there will be assigned seating for dinner. Escort cards will be available at the reception.
Will food be served?
Yes. We'll be serving a seated dinner duet plate style, so everyone will enjoy two delicious options on their plate.
What if I have food allergies or a dietary restrictions?
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can make note of any allergies or restrictions (not preferences). We will bring it up to the catering team to accommodate you as best as possible.
Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?
We kindly ask that photos of our wedding not be shared on social media until we, the bride and groom, have had the chance to post them first using the official photos and videos from our photography and videography team. It’s our special day, and we want to share the excitement directly rather than through others’ posts.
How can I get home safely after the reception?
We encourage all guests to plan ahead. Hotel guests can use their Uber code, and for everyone else, rideshares, taxis, or designated drivers are recommended. Please drink responsibly and stay safe.
Can I leave my car overnight?
Yes! The venue allows guests to park cars overnight, given that the car is picked up the next morning at a reasonable hour. We recommend picking it up no later than 10 AM on March 13th if you do need to leave it.
What is the best airport to fly into?
There are multiple options to fly into. Each of them are about the same distance from our venue. Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), Burbank Airport (BUR), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are all good options for incoming and outgoing flights. We personally recommend Burbank Airport.
Should I rent a car?
This depends on how long you intend to stay in town. If you need assistance in booking a rental, Owen works for Hertz and can be reached at owen.flanagan@hertz.com, and his phone number is (805) 876-6765. This is his work email and his personal phone number. We recommend making an account on hertz.com to speed up the booking process.
