Collin and Sophia first started talking using the infamous dating site, Hinge. Sophia was moving to Crosby soon and Collin knew through LuAnn that this was the new first grade teacher moving to town. Collin and Sophia talked for a couple of weeks but then Sophia did what she usually did and deleted the app when she was bored of it. Little did she know that Collin had planned to ask her on a date, but when he had the courage, he realized her profile was deleted . (Oops 😅)

Fast forward a couple months later, Sophia was the JV volleyball coach and happened to coach LuAnn’s granddaughter. Both of them would try and come up with ways to have Collin and Sophia meet up in person. Sophia wasn’t sure she was ready for anything being she just moved to town not too long ago. It was after volleyball season and into the next year, 2023, when Sophia was trying to figure out how she could try talk to Collin. He didn’t have any social media so her only thought was to see if he still had his Hinge account. To her luck, he did! Collin saw her first but didn’t want to start a conversation first being she “ghosted” him the first time. Sophia started the conversation first and shortly after talking they went on their first date at the Bypass Restaurant in Crosby! The rest is pretty much history!! Collin and Sophia enjoy spending time with his daughter, Hudson, and their 2 dogs, Phoebe and Joey!
