Sophia and I's story starts when we first met on a soccer field in 2018.. I was a sophmore in highschool and she was not yet in highschool, she was there because of her older brother and I wasn't interested in dating, but little did I know that I became best friends with the brother of her best friend.

We started seeing each other more and more often as the years went by, we shared friend groups and her brother became my closest friend (he still is), whenever we were in the same room, neither of us could refrain from joking with eachother and having a great time.

I began to notice that she was growing up into a beautiful woman when we were still in highschool, but I didn't realize it at the time. We both saw each other as friends and nothing more throughout it all, we liked other people, we pursued romantic relationships and both denied the obvious until October of 2024.

We both came off of failed relationships with other people, and I felt the Lords providence and my attention was immediatly shifted. I knew that she and I shared interests and values, that we both wanted to get married, have kids, and honor the Lord with our lives - so I put two and two together and started pursuing her in a romantic setting. Little did I know, she was thinking the exact same way, and on November 16 I asked her to go out with me.

it only took a few weeks of serious conversations and spending large amounts of time together that we both knew we were going to get married.

So I asked her to come to Florida with me and my family, and on March 16 of 2025 in the Florida keys, I asked her to marry me.
