Our Wedding

If you ask Sophia: Our story started before we even knew it. Nicholas and I went to high school together and had many mutals and friends of friends. Never in a million years did I imagine we would ever even talk to each other let alone get married! I found our paths crossing way more than just coincidence and started to wonder if this meant something. I never looked twice in his direction because he seemed to be so opposite of what I ever would consider my type. I am a big believer in "right place right time" and honestly, I can say that Nicholas and I met each other just when we needed each other. One night we ended up in the same place and I figured this time it was weird enough it had to mean something. That's when I thought I should make a move and see if this was something that was meant to be! Of course, I was too nervous to do anything about this feeling but luckily Nicholas was brave and asked his friend for my info. We started talking on and off and made plans to hang out solo. I know he must have been so frustrated because I was so nervous I kept canceling on him. I would make up excuses and just laugh it off but I knew he was getting so annoyed. That's how I knew he was so sweet though because through all of my flakiness, he still wanted to hang out with me and get to know me. We finally got together and I knew instantly this guy was my guy. If you know Nicholas you know he is mostly pragmatic. Being idealistic, I was so excited to hear him talk about our future. It meant he wasn't just daydreaming like I do, he actually wanted to go experience life with me. He acted almost like he was falling in love! haha! I knew his sweetness was something he only let people he trusted know about him and so I was thrilled to get to see this side of him. I feel like once we started hanging out we never stopped, and somehow that turned into living together with 2 dogs and 2 cats in a wonderful house creating this little life that I love so much:) I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us and I am most excited to be doing this with my best friend! If you ask Nicholas: Well, I’d have to say that I wasn’t entirely ready nor did I have any business trying date. Sophia and I had gone to high school together and had maybe 2 or 3 mutual friends. 2019 came along and we (after ghosting me repeatedly or “falling asleep”) finally got to start hanging out and enjoying each other's company. Sophia in and of herself is very reserved but bubbly, I really fell in love with that and how she had the ability to make me feel calm and as if we were at a house party on the same token. Regardless I knew I wanted her to be a center point in my life and now here we are. I never in a million years would have thought I’d be dating the girl with turquoise hair, now I’m marrying her and it’s all I could want.
