Sophia and Ian met in February of 2015 at Ohio University where they both attended college. After a month of knowing one another, it became clear that their relationship would be lasting.

Ian graduated OU in May of 2015 and moved back to the Philadelphia area for work while Sophia continued for two more years of school at OU. Through this time, they spent many hours driving back and forth to one another and traveling to various new cities.

When Sophia graduated in 2017 from OU, they moved to Northern&nbsp;New Jersey for Sophia to pursue her masters.&nbsp;

In June of 2019, Ian and Sophia visited San Diego where he popped the question!

They finished off the year becoming first time homeowners in November of 2019 and look forward to celebrating this next chapter in their lives with each of you!

Masks

Masks WILL BE&nbsp;required at our event.&nbsp;

Masks must be worn properly, over your mouth and nose, when at our ceremony and reception. &nbsp;Masks may only be removed when seated at your assigned seat/table for consumption of food/drinks.



Proper masks will be required and include surgical masks, KN-95 masks, and fabric masks. Gators will not be permitted. We are happy to provide you with appropriate surgical masks.







If you cannot comply with this request, &nbsp;we&nbsp;kindly ask that you&nbsp;stay home to avoid&nbsp;spreading COVID to our loved ones.

What to Expect

Guest Count: Reduced count. Legally, &nbsp;capacity is capped at&nbsp;35% of the&nbsp;facility max&nbsp;to allow for social distancing. We anticipate staying well under this amount.

Ceremony: Outdoors under a covered, heated pavillion









Cocktail Hour: Indoors/Patio. All windows and doors will remain open. Hor d'ourves will be served&nbsp;by masked and gloved attendants









Reception: Indoors with all windows and doors remaining open. With our reduced guest list, all tables will be spaced out and family/households&nbsp;will be seated together. At this time, there is no permitted dance floor.&nbsp;

If travel is unavoidable, travelers should consider getting tested with a viral test (not an antibody test) 1-3 days before the trip and again 3-5 days after the trip.

1.&nbsp;Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media? 





















No, this is an unplugged ceremony.&nbsp;We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials.&nbsp;We have hired wonderful photographers to document this special moment and we kindly ask that phones, tablets,&nbsp;and cameras remain out of sight and off until the ceremony conclusion!&nbsp;





























2.&nbsp;When is the RSVP deadline?





























Kindly RSVP no later than March&nbsp;8th, 2021.&nbsp;





























3. &nbsp;Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

4.&nbsp;Can I bring kids to the wedding?





























Unfortunately, our venue is not suitable for kids. This will be an adult-only ceremony and reception. We hope this will allow you a much-deserved night off to celebrate with us!





























5.&nbsp;Where is the ceremony?





























The ceremony is located at Scotland Run Golf Club&nbsp;&nbsp;(2626 Fries Mill Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094). Parking is available on-site. Please proceed through the main entrance and follow signage to the pavilion out back.





























6. Is the ceremony outdoors?





























Yes! The ceremony will take place in a covered pavilion. All guests will be protected from the sun and rain during the ceremony.





























7.&nbsp;What will the weather be like?





























Please refer to a weather app for Williamstown, NJ. While we hope for a beautiful day, weather is out of our control. Ceremony, while outside, is covered and will prevent direct sun or rain&nbsp;exposure.&nbsp;





























8.&nbsp;Where is the reception?





























The reception is also at Scotland Run Golf Club (2626 Fries Mill Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094).&nbsp;





























9.&nbsp;Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Please understand there is a hockey tournament that weekend and hotel room blocks have been limited; however, the Hampton Inn is expected to open soon and will be a GREAT option for guests. 10.&nbsp;Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?





























We have revised our plans to include a shuttle to and from the venue. Our shuttle will Depart from the Courtyard Marriott at the following times:

2:25pm; Arrive at Ceremony 2:45pm (There is a restaurant/bar to enjoy a pre ceremony cocktail!)

3:00pm; Arrive at Ceremony 3:20pm

The shuttle will return to the Courtyard at the following times:

8:40pm; Arrive to the Courtyard 9:00pm

9:20pm; Arrive to the Courtyard 9:40pm

10:00pm; Arrive to the Courtyard 10:20pm

10:40pm Arrive to the Courtyard 11:00pm





























11.&nbsp;What should I wear?





























Cocktail/semi-formal attire is requested and be sure to bring some dancing shoes!

Scotland Run Golf Club provides&nbsp;ample parking in their lot located at&nbsp;2626 Fries Mill Rd, Williamstown, NJ 08094.





























13.&nbsp;What time should we arrive?





























Ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please plan to be seated for the processional before this time. &nbsp;Please plan to leave ample&nbsp;time to arrive to the venue. If you arrive early, the venue has a full bar and restaurant on the lower floor that you are welcome to enjoy prior to the ceremony.





























14.&nbsp;What happens between the ceremony and reception?





























Cocktail hour! Enjoy a drink and some appetizers&nbsp;for us!





























15.&nbsp;What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?





























We will be offering a chicken, beef, seafood, and vegetable option for dinner. Should you have any dietary concerns, please reach out as our venue is happy to provide you a meal you can enjoy.
