A private ceremony will be held prior to the guest arrival. The ceremony and reception will be held at Standing Rock Farms in the Barrel Room. There may be other weddings taking place on the same day, so please follow the posted signs directing guests to the correct location. Keep an eye out for signage that reads “Rumsey Wedding.” For your convenience, there is also a “Venue Map” tab on our website where you can view a map of the property. We recommend arriving between 4:00–4:15 PM to allow time for parking and seating.

Please RSVP through our website at theknot.com/therumseyss by June 15, 2026, as our venue and caterer require a final guest count by this date. If we do not receive your RSVP by then, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate you as a guest. While we will miss celebrating with you, we truly appreciate your understanding.

Weather permitting, the reception will take place indoors; however, the space features expansive doors that will remain open, allowing fresh air and a comfortable breeze throughout the celebration.

We kindly ask that white, cream, and ivory outfits be reserved for the bride so she can have her moment. Please wear something you can comfortably dance, spin, and celebrate in—we fully expect a packed dance floor!

We love all the little ones in our family, but we’re planning our wedding as an adults-only celebration. We’re hoping everyone can enjoy the night, dance, and celebrate without worrying about bedtime or nap schedules. Think of it as a fun date night — with cake.

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation envelope. If a plus one has been included for you, it will be indicated there. We appreciate your understanding.

Unfortunately, we will not have any hotel blocks for the wedding. However, we are thrilled that so many of our out-of-town guests will be joining us! To make planning a little easier, we’ve created a separate section on our website with a list of hotels near the venue. We hope this helps you find a comfortable place to stay while you celebrate with us.

Yes! There will be an open bar, featuring two specialty cocktails crafted just for our wedding. Sip, celebrate, and dance the night away—we just ask that everyone enjoys responsibly. A police officer will be on site to make sure the evening stays safe and full of fun for all our guests.
