In October of 2020 Adam and Sophia met at youth group at church. Adam and his family had just moved to the area and Sophia had just returned from serving at summer camp. He thought she was weird as anything.

A couple months later, Sophia and Adam ended up being the only two teens at a church park day at Eagle Island and embarked on their first paddle boarding adventure where Adam proved to her his protective abilities by saving her from the snapping turtles. He decided she was less weird than he originally thought and found that he enjoyed her spunky personality. She appreciated his chivalry and also his muscles. Their first date was soon after.

They began going on some pretty epic adventures and growing in love and devotion towards one another. Some of their favorite dates have been; making each other bears at Build a Bear, horseback riding, swing dancing at the plaza, off-roading in a Camry, hiking at Jump Creek, going to the fair, ax throwing, paddle boarding, and apple picking.

Over the 2 years they have been dating, they have discussed at length their dreams of getting married, buying land, starting a farm, and eventually a family together. Adam has already shown his proficiency in chicken wrangling and has helped get Sophia up to speed on caring for her flock of chicken babies. They cannot wait to get married and start their farm-ily.

It is with great excitement that they are now at the end of their dating journey and embark on their greatest adventure yet, a lifetime of waking up next to each other, sharing everyday moments, serving the Lord side by side, and weathering together all the joys and trials that married life has to offer.
