Our Wedding

<p>Sophia and Jakob first met in April 2021 when she was visiting her best friend who had moved to Port Charlotte, FL. Her friend took classes at a local mma gym and took Sophia with her one night during her visit, that’s where she was introduced to Jakob. The next day they decided to go fishing and invited Jakob to hang out with them too. They didn’t see each other again until June when Allison invited her to come visit again and took her to Jakob’s 2nd amateur mma fight where they really hit it off and the rest was history. By September they were dating and she went back down to visit again for his 3rd fight in October, and then just 2 weeks later he came and visited her in Maryville, TN for the first time. After these short trips/visits they quickly realized that the long distance just wasn’t fair, so Sophia moved to Port Charlotte right after Christmas that same year. They lived together in Port Charlotte for about a year and a half but Sophia was homesick and Jakob was just tired of living in Florida, so September 2023 they moved to her hometown of Maryville, TN. Jakob proposed to Sophia almost a year later in November 2024 while they were driving through Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains, which is one of the first places she took him when he came to visit back in 2021. We are so excited to celebrate with you all at our wedding ceremony and reception in September 2025!</p>

Allison is the longest friend i’ve ever had, we went to school together from daycare to senior year and our friendship has extended well past that.

I’ve only known Kylie for 2 years now but it feels like so much longer. Kylie is a cousin of the groom but honestly she’s more like a little sister i never had.

Micaela and I used to work together while i was living in Florida. We had one conversation at work and the rest was history, we hate the long distance but it’s honestly made our friendship stronger. I know that even though she’s 750 miles away, she’ll always be there for me.

Jake met Harry at their old mma gym and they’ve been like brothers ever since. They’ve trained together, fought together, and have always been there for each other through it all.

Paiton is Harry’s little brother, him and Jake met in the same way. They’ve also trained together and fought together, and always supported each other through these times.

Paiton Aust

Jr, as he prefers to be called, is Jakes little brother. They’ve been through a lot together which has only made them stronger as siblings, there’s nothing they wouldn’t do for each other. Since moving Jake has only grown to appreciate him even more than he already did, he misses him and all the time spent together everyday.
