"We both met our first year of Rhema Bible Training College, where we both had a desire for ministry that we wanted to foster. One night at one of the many sports we played, he had invited me to his church's Sunday service, in which I was already looking for a church! A few of our friends and I all came that next Sunday. I walk in and first thing I notice is the drummer - it was Matthew in his Sunday suit smiling so big. Afterwards, we had all gone out to lunch...where he was definitely flirting with me...and he had again invited us to the harvest festival the church puts on every year, as it was happening that night. I had decided to come because I always loved the ones I grew up going to. Our friends and I had all stayed in the sound booth with him having fun, and then we went out to dinner that night where Matthew had asked me out on the very first date I've ever been on. I was shocked because he came out of nowhere in my life. He was my first and now my last :)"

"Sophia and I first met while we were both attending Rhema Bible Training College. It started by both of us independently attending sand volleyball hangouts. I started to notice her when I would make a comment that was a slight dig or just messing around and she would immediately respond with one of her own without missing a beat!

Well as time went on, one evening after volleyball, we were all hanging around in a group and out of nowhere Nathan just was like 'Hey! Ya'll should come to our church Sunday morning.' To which I made sure to reinforce heavily in Sophia's direction. Well, Sunday morning rolls around and one of my friends texts me that he's got some special visitors coming by the church this Sunday. Here rolls in Sophia looking as stunning as ever!

Immediately following service, we all make a point to invite everyone out to lunch and chit chat and I made an extra effort to sit across from her. We flirted and I ended up inviting her to our Harvest Fest happening that evening. I very slyly got her number with a comment of 'well I'll just text you the address and what time it starts!'

She attended, and we went out to Taco Bell that evening with a big group once again. Well as the evening lulled to a close, I decided that I was going to ask her out! I got so nervous - since I had never asked a girl out before. Well, to my surprise, she said 'Yes!' and the rest is history."
