Our Wedding

Teddy and I had mutual friends at Armstrong High School. I had a crush on him at the start of senior year. We finally talked to each other on Halloween and it felt so natural. We just clicked from the start. A couple of weeks later we went on our first date. In the years following, we graduated high school and attended college at the University of Minnesota. There, we studied our butts off, made lifelong friends and gained priceless memories. We have traveled to California, Oregon, Texas, Maine, Colorado, Illinois and Utah together and we can't wait to see more of the world on our honeymoon! Since becoming engaged, we have moved into our first apartment near Uptown. We are pretty busy between exploring our new neighborhood, planning our wedding and working full-time. We wouldn't have it any other way. We are so excited to have you join us on our big day!

Our Story

For winter break 2020, Teddy and I went up to his parents cabin, where we have spent lots of time together. On the morning of New Years Eve, Teddy woke me up early. After going on a walk and taking a sauna, he suggested I take a nap. Little did I know while I was napping, he was setting up a proposal. After waking up, I walked out to the living room. I saw candles, flowers, and Teddy on one knee. Telling our family and friends the good news shortly after was surreal. It was the best day.

Charlotte is my little sister. Before going on my first date with Teddy, she helped me decide what to wear and calmed my nerves. She has always been the #1 fan of our relationship, so it means the world to me to have her by my side on our wedding day!

Eileen is my youngest sister. Despite being 5 years apart in age, we have always had similar interests. She constantly makes me laugh with her witty sense of humor and spot-on impressions. She just gets me!

Gillian is my cousin. Growing up, she was the leader of our cousin squad, which we named "The Thrilling Three". We share so many memories together, like playing “city”, putting on plays, and visiting Door County. I have always had fun with her and I know there is plenty of fun to be had in our future!

Tessa is my cousin. We have been friends since we were little, and I’m lucky to have spent even more time with her recently, because she also attended the University of Minnesota. While we no longer create dance routines in her basement, I know we'll be tearing up the dance floor at the wedding!

Leo is my youngest brother.  Although he can be a rascal sometimes, he carries more positive, hopeful energy than anyone I know.  I fully expect Leo to show us his extraordinary "break" dancing moves on the dance floor, his classic being "The Worm".  Hopefully this time he doesn't actually break something...

Peyton has been a close friend since middle school, ever since we played lacrosse together, and we were roommates throughout college.  I admire Peytons inclusivity and passion.  I've learned from college parties and trips across the U.S. with him that one of his main goals is to practice carpe diem.

Connor has been my best friend since elementary school and we were roommates throughout college.  Ever since our first time hanging out, we have never had a shortage of laughter between us.  Shared trips snowboarding, to cabins, and to the Rockies have only reinforced our strong friendship.  If you need a partner in crime at the wedding, I'd suggest talking to this guy.

John has been a close friend since elementary school.  The day I decided to pick John to be a groomsman, before I had told him, he portrayed his warmth and compassion to others by hand delivering an engagement gift to Sophia and I.  From late night hangouts in middle school and playing football with the guys, his zany humor has always brought a smile to my face.
