After a few years apart in college, fate brought Sophia and Josh back together. It took time, but they finally realized what they'd always known deep down—that they were meant to be together.

During their long-distance relationship, Josh made his first trip from Davenport, Iowa to visit Sophia in Eau Claire. To make the most of their time together, they went on a hike at Levis Mound!

Sophia and Josh attended their first wedding together, where Sophia stood up in the wedding, and Josh got his first look at her walking down the aisle. Of course, Sophia caught the bouquet! Peep Josh in the background, clearly someone wasn't disappointed. 😂

Sophia was accepted to graduate school and moved to Davenport, Iowa, where Josh was also attending school, officially ending their long-distance relationship! To celebrate, their first date night together was at a derby race.

Sophia graduated with her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and moved back to Medford to start her career at Aspirus. Josh with only a few more months left in Davenport to finish schooling, marking the end of another chapter.

Josh graduated with his doctorate in Chiropractic and was ready to start the next chapter—moving back to Medford with Sophia. It was time to set down their roots together. He then opened his practice, Quality Care Chiropractic and Wellness!

Josh planned the perfect surprise for Sophia, taking her on a trip to Timm’s Hill. As they stood there, overlooking the lake, he casually said, "Is that a bear?". Luckily, she didn’t flee the scene, and when she turned around, he was there on one knee ready to ask her to spend forever with him. But the surprise didn’t end there. Josh had secretly arranged for both their families to be hiding in the woods, ready to join in the celebration of their special moment.
