Q + A

What time should I arrive?

As the ceremony starts promptly at 3:30PM, we ask that guests arrive no later than 3:15PM to ensure parking and seating is acquired prior to the start of the ceremony. Please refrain from interrupting the ceremony if you arrive late.

Can I bring a guest/date?

We politely ask that you maintain the number of seats designated in your party listed on the RSVP. If you were only given one seat, do not worry, we have ensured that you have plenty of known friends and family around you. We have a limited number of seats and will sadly have to turn away anyone not included in the RSVP. Please reach out to Sophia with any questions!

Are kids allowed?

Although we love little humans, we unfortunately cannot accommodate children on our special day and ask that you find a sitter. Thank you for understanding!

Where do I sit?

The ceremony has no assigned seating, however, we ask guests to please refer to the seating chart within the barn to find their assigned table for the reception.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Our venue is Talon Winery, 7086 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40515. It will be the first barn on your left when you come onto the property. The ceremony will be held outside first, so head to the other side of the barn upon arrival. We will move to the patio and barn area afterwards.

Is the venue handicap accessible? Where do I park?

Yes! There are handicap parking spots in both the first parking lot on your left at the barn, as well as the extended parking lot located adjacently. Please do not park in the grass.

Will there be food?

Yes— Appetizers and one meal will be provided, as well as cake and some other sweet treats!

What should I wear?

Black-Tie Optional attire means that you can dress as formally as you prefer. Khakis and a button-down, or a sport coat, would be appropriate. Cocktail and formal dresses are also appropriate. No jeans or t-shirts, please. Please refrain from wearing white, as this is reserved for the bride on her special day!
