We hope that you will stay at the Riggs with us! The link to our room block is posted above on the "website" link. You may also call the Riggs Hotel directly and book over the phone, just be sure to use our code.
If you'd like to stay elsewhere, here are some other locations nearby our venue. There are many hotels in the area, so don't feel limited to this list. There are also affordable options in Northern Virginia. If you're worried about being too far, just ask!
Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center
If you're flying, you have the option to arrive at one of three major airports in the area. We highly recommend flying into DCA, as it is the closest to D.C.
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) - 4.4 miles
Dulles International Airport (IAD) - 28.2 miles
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) - 35.5 miles
For those taking the train, arrive to Washington Union Station, where you can take an Uber/Lyft/taxi, Metro (red line), or take the bus to our venue in the Penn Quarter neighborhood.
Our venue and lodging are all in the same building, The Riggs Hotel.
You are free to use Uber/Lyft or taxis to get around, they are usually readily availalble.
The Riggs is located in the Penn Quarter neighborhood D.C., and is central to all of the metro lines. The closest stops are:
Metro Center - Red, Blue, Orange, and Silver lines
Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter - Green and Yellow lines
Gallery Pl-Chinatown - Red, Green, and Yellow lines
Judiciary Square - Red line
If you'd like to take the metro or bus while in D.C. and you own a smart phone, we highly recommend adding the SmarTrip Transit Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Once added, it can be used on any DC Metro or bus line. Do this before you get to the station, it's a bit of an in-depth process!
You can also purchase a SmarTrip card at any Metro Station that will work on all Metro and bus lines. There is also the DC Circulator bus that costs $1 to ride.
