This is a lovely little nature area frequented by Levi and I whenever we visit his grandparents, John and Janet Stoner. It's totally free and open to the public with a very accessible walk to a lake. We've even seen bald eagles and deer here! The address takes you to a very cute nature center with lots of activities for bigs and littles, down the road a half mile or so is the entrance to the lake.
The Peachey-Stoners spent a ~sweet~ time here when the boys were small!
Mr. Rogers went here and had a ~colorful~ time!
When Levi and I were in Akron for Thanksgiving, his Aunt Kay insisted that we go to "Green Dragon," assuring us it was an experience not to be missed when so nearby. It sure is somethin'.
Levi's dad Bob (with his parentals and siblings) frequented this creamy establishment many a time during his youth. Levi and I are both lactose-intolerant so enjoy it for us!
There's springs and a creek, and of course, for all you bird lovers, birds! It is also a historical site with lots of old buildings memorializing what may or may not have a cult.
