Our story started back in 2013 at a party at the Biltmore Hotel, where a good friend (thank you, Jordan!) introduced us. We took a photo together that night, a simple moment that ended up changing both of our lives.

After a few dates and lots of late-night FaceTimes, Ralphy asked Sophia to be his girlfriend. It happened right in the middle of Fast and Furious 6 at Sunset Place. From then on, we were pretty much inseparable. Sophia was a Lourdes/Columbus cheerleader, Ralphy was a Columbus football player, and somehow, between Friday night games, cheer competitions, high school parties, and a few math tutoring sessions, we made a million memories together.

We grew up side by side, through high school, college at Florida State University, and all the life that came after. We’ve marked birthdays, graduations, and big milestones together, surrounded by old friends who feel like family and new friends who’ve quickly become just as special.

On May 31, 2024, eleven years after that movie date, we got engaged during a sunset boat ride in the Keys, a place that’s always felt like home to us. There may or may not have been a last-minute Bass Pro Shops outfit involved, but that’s a story for another day.

We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, the family and friends who have made our story so special.
