When should I book my travel & Accomodation
It's best to book as early as possible—ideally 6-9 months in advance—to secure the best rates and availability.
How can I book a room at Villa Antigua?
We have the whole hotel blocked for our guests for that weekend. To book a room, you need to use our booking code:SG052026. Get in touch with the hotel via call or WhatsApp (+52 414 219 6716) and secure your room.
Are kids invited?
We are delighted to welcome children to the ceremony! For the reception and evening celebration, we kindly request an adults‑only gathering. The hotel will be offering child care in situ. Kindly let us know in advance so that we can plan accordingly.
What is the dress code?
In true Mexican fashion, bring your A-Game in formal attire. There are no restrictions on the colours, we only ask that white, ivory, or the wedding colours of lavender and plum be avoided.
What's the weather like?
Tequisquiapan is very warm in May with average daytime temperatures getting up to 28°C or 83° F, and evening temperatures around 13°C or 56° F. So don't forget to bring sunscreen!
Do I need a passport or visa?
If you’re coming from the US, Canada, or the European Union, you typically won’t need a visa to enter Mexico. The same goes if you have permanent residence or a valid visa from the US, Canada, Japan, the UK, or the Schengen Area.
Since rules can change, we recommend double‑checking the official Mexican government website before you travel:

Will there be group rates for hotels?
Yes! Hotel Villa Antigua is offering our guests a special discounted rate—just use our booking code (coming soon!). Check back in a few days for all the details
Will there be ice breakers before the wedding?
Yes! We’re planning a fun, optional activity the day before the wedding to help everyone mingle. Head to the section "Ice Breaker" for further details.
When should we arrive to Mexico?
If you’re traveling from far away, we recommend arriving in Mexico a few days to a week before the wedding to adjust to the time zone and climate. Feel free to reach out if you’d like travel tips or recommendations!
When should we arrive to Tequisquiapan?
We’re organizing some fun icebreakers and casual gatherings in the Tequisquiapan region on the days leading up to the wedding—especially to help our guests traveling from abroad feel welcomed and connected. If you’re able to, we’d love for you to arrive from 28th May 2026 to join in the festivities.
That said, there’s absolutely no pressure—your presence at the wedding itself means the world to us!
