Locquirec is a famous seaside holiday spot with lots of outdoor activities! Here are some of our favourite things to do; we hope you can join us for a few days before or after the wedding to enjoy the local area.
There are plenty of great walks on the local beaches and coastal paths. Some of our favourites are the Tour de Pointe (1 km walk around Locquirec) and l'Ile Blanche.
We would love if you bring a bike to join us on some rides. There are lots of great hilly, low-traffic routes in the area; we are on the roads of one of the most underrated races of the year, the Tro Bro Leon (and the Tour de France came through here in 2021).
If you can't bring a bike but would like to ride, the local tourism office also rents out electric dutch bikes.
Locquirec is a seaside town so there are plenty of activities you can do on the water (swimming, sailing, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc).
Or, for a more relaxed afternoon, you can simply sunbathe on La Plage du Port in Locquirec.
The local region is full of beautiful churches and castles dating back hundreds of years or more. Some examples are the Cairn de Barnenez, the Guimillau Parish close, and the Château de Tonquédec.
To see local historic towns with classical Breton architecture, visit Morlaix (30 min drive from Locquirec) or Roscoff (1 h drive).
Chez P'ti Anne, la Brasserie de la Plage, La Dame de Nage, and l'Hôtel du Port are all great restaurants right in the middle of Locquirec
