At the beginning of Sophie’s sophomore year she screenshotted Dylan’s roster pic on the RMU football website and sent it to her friend Sara Beth saying “look at how cute and tall this new freshman is”…

From there, it was history! Sophie and Dylan met for the first time the night of Dylan’s first college football game. Over the next year or so they kept in contact, growing their connection over shared love for food, shared trauma from their D1 sports, and so many more similarities.

In February of 2019 they made it official! Between 2019 and now, they have been through so many amazing milestones. Some of their favorite memories are… getting to support each other at their college athletic events, moving in with eachother for the first time in 2020, adopting their fur child Archer, visiting each other’s families, moving to Wilmington, and getting engaged in Joshua Tree National Park!

April 12th 2025 is sure to be our favorite milestone yet! We can’t wait to be husband and wifey <3 See you at the beach!!
