Bourton-on-the-Water is in the heart of the Cotswolds with loads to do for those that want to make a longer trip of it.
The village itself is home to some great walking spots and pubs. Or picturesque local towns Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Moreton-In-Marsh and Chipping Campden are all easily drivable and have some great independent shops and restaurants.
Cheltenham is only a short drive away too.
We've added some of our favourite things to do, and please feel free to reach out if you'd like any recommendations or extra info on the area.

Jeremy Clarkson's brewery and outdoor covered bar are situated in Bourton, a short walk from the centre of the village. It's a rustic but fun venue - and can be reached on the walk back from Lower Slaughter for those wanting to do both.
A lovely wine shop and quirky bar about a 15 minute drive from Bourton
Famous farm shop and restaurant found on most Cotswold bingo cards. An easy way to kill a couple of hours and will take you to the village of Kingham, which has some great pubs/restaurants including the Wild Rabbit and The Plough.
Reachable via 20 minute walk from the village, the inn is situated in a picturesque local village. The main picture of us for this website was taken there!
The Fish is a brilliant eatery on the gorgeous Farncombe Estate. It offers slouchy sofas and cocktails and a lovely dining room with one of the best menus in the area. The accommodation is out of this world too if anyone fancies a long weekend away.
The Model Village is situated next to the Old New Inn
