Atlanta is a great city with lots to do! If you have downtime throughout the weekend, we recommend checking out the following attractions. Get a more in-depth look at where to go and what to do on Sophie's Atlanta blog page.

Piedmont Park ATL's version of Central Park.

Atlanta BeltLineA paved walking and running trail that runs from Piedmont Park in Midtown to Krog Street Market in Inman Park, intersecting Ponce City Market and various shops, bars, and restaurants along the way. A walk on the BeltLine will give you a great feel for the city!

Ponce City Market Huge indoor-outdoor market featuring vendors from around the city. Great food, drinks, and shopping – a perfect pit-stop for lunch.

Krog Street Market More hipstery version of Ponce City Market located at the other end of the BeltLine.

Inman Park Neighborhood A trendy, artsy neighborhood along the BeltLine with cute bars and restaurants.

Lennox Square Mall and the Shops of Buckhead Situated near the St. Regis in Buckhead, these are fun areas to walk around, go shopping, and grab a bite to eat.

Spa Day – The St. Regis hotel has an excellent spa if you're looking for a more relaxing activity. The Loews hotel in Midtown also has a fabulous spa. Be sure to reserve your appointment in advance, as these popular spots tend to book up!

Historic Sites Check out Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthplace and church in Inman Park, the Margaret Mitchell House where Gone With The Wind was written, and more. See Sophie's blog post for more details!

Emory CampusThe gorgeous Emory campus is definitely worth checking out, and is just a 15-minute drive from the St. Regis.

Museums and Unique Atlanta Attractions – High Museum of Art, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, World of Coca-Cola, College Football Hall of Fame, CNN Studio Tours, National Center for Civil and Human Rights
