Although we were one grade apart, we were in many of the same activities at Fargo North including cross country, Student Council, Knowledge Bowl, and of course Key Club. We got to serve on the Key Club board together with Bridger being vice president and Sophie being president...we know quite the political scandal. Sophie then got to pass the gavel and bell to Bridger when he became president.
While Sophie went to Milwaukee to try to become an engineer, we had to do five months of long distance BUT Bridger was the best and visited twice!
Down the street to NDSU we both went! Sophie was even able to drag Bridger to some Bison football games over the years!
Bridger planned to ask Sophie to marry him at some point during the trip to Grand Teton National Park but was waiting for the perfect moment. From forgetting the ring in the car to Bridger's phone dying when he planned to record the proposal to waiting out a thunderstorm the last day of the trip, it finally happened in the most perfect way possible.
Bridger was an overachiever and graduated in three years but big perk for Sophie as she borrowed his cap and gown and didn't need to buy her own.
We are both thankful for our time at NDSU for undergrad, especially Bridger as he was able to start graduate school right away!
We have been so thankful for all our adventures we have gotten to go on together and we can't wait for all that is to come!
