Freshman year of college at Belmont University, we met through a group of friends the first month of college. Though we hung out with the group, we never really spent time together. We did not start dating since we were just friends and new college students. A case of wrong timing. We fell out of touch with each other after that first year of college. We didn’t see each other again for another three years besides a group project they ended up doing for an accounting class (Sophie did all the work).

One day in December of their senior year of college, our friend Gracey held a Christmas party for all of her friends. It was at this party that we reconnected and realized how nice it was to talk to each other and how little we actually got to know each other that freshman year. We started going on dates (our first date was a taco restaurant that is now closed) and getting to know each other over the next couple months. We officially started dating March 22, 2022 and have barely spent a day apart.

Since then, we have gotten to travel to other countries, start new jobs, watch our friends get married, and so many other wonderful moments together. We can’t wait to see what the future holds!
