Luke and Sophie have two versions to how they met; it just depends on who their audience is. Their first time ever meeting was at their good friends' wedding in July of 2021. Sophie was a bridesmaid/roommate to the bride and Luke went to high school with the groom. Luke came up and introduced himself (which Sophie doesn't remember because there was a lot going on that day). Fast forward to November of that year and they both matched on a dating app called Bumble.

The two planned to meet for coffee (which was reassuring to both of them that their friends knew of one another since it's quite the gamble with online dating) and had such a great time that more dates continued!

There are many other people involved in Luke and Sophie's story and they can't wait to spend their big day with everyone! They thank their strong support system of friends, family, and community.

Their story will continue with a move to Indianapolis in the fall of 2024 where Luke will be getting his Masters in Public Administration and Sophie will continue teaching.
