Seeing “USU Graduate” in her bio, Carver thought she might still live in Logan, UT—just like him. They hadn’t matched yet, but Carver waited hopefully.

A few minutes later, they matched. Wasting no time, Carver messaged Sophie, asking if she still lived in Logan. She explained she had recently graduated and moved to the Bay Area. Knowing he only had one night in town, Carver asked if she’d want to meet up. To his delight, Sophie agreed.
