Saturday morning

If you are planning to have a Devon weekend/arriving before the service and are looking for things to do, there are some local beaches that are easily accessible by car. Sidmouth and Western are particular favourites and we will head to one of them for a pre-match dip.

Ideas for lunch

- Fish and chips on the beach

- Heron farm (London brunch vibes with a Devon twist)

- There are a few local pubs. The best one is run by a Frenchmen who only opens it when he feels like it so booking is essential! It's called the Golden Lion.

- The PeaGreen Boat in Sidmouth is lovely

- Topsham is a 20 minute drive away and has some great pub options on the estuary

The service starts at 3pm so please aim to be seated by 2:45pm. The church is a short drive or 20 minute walk along country roads (no pavement for the majority of the way) from Cadhay House. Best place to park is at the Sainsburys in Ottery st Mary where there is a large car park.

After the church there will be drinks in the Cadhay garden from 4:30pm. There is plenty of parking in the field opposite the main house.

Sidmouth is coastal town and is a 15 minute drive away and has lots of hotel/Airbnb options.

There are local Airbnb's in the Ottery st Mary/Fluxton area

There is a Premier Inn in Honiton

The Pig at Combe is a 12 minute drive away.
