Spencer and Denali met in their senior year of college, not having crossed paths until then. The Lord was in their relationship from the very beginning, using their differences in upbringing and expression of faith as the very thing that drew them closer to one another. Opposites DO attract!

Did you know that Denali asked Spencer out? Well...only after he asked her out and she said "No!" The connection was undeniable, however, and the two eventually went on their first date to a music store, ice skating, and to eat Pho! Denali's college roommates made a bet on how long the first date would last, and a good friend made the right guess with 12 hours!

God has worked through their relationship and confirmed His blessing to each of them countless times– They would attribute their wonderful journey to God's merciful Grace!
