Our Wedding

We met at a mutual friend's wedding - exactly 3 years and 10 days before our own wedding day! Paige was a bridesmaid and Spencer was a guest.

March 18, 2023 - First Meeting

Our first date was to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. Neither of us are art connoisseurs, but it made for a memorable first date. Afterward we enjoyed a late lunch at Brookside Barrio.

March 27, 2023 - First Date

On our third date, Paige came out to Manhattan, KS on Easter Sunday to “see a friend”. She bravely agreed to a sunset flight in a small plane, piloted by a guy she'd known for only 3 weeks! It was also Paige’s first time actually flying a plane- as Spencer purposely let go of the controls, leaving her no other choice!

April 9, 2023 - First Flight

Spencer stopped by Paige's house as she was getting ready for a night shift at work to bring flowers- just because.

April 14, 2023 - First Flowers

It's fitting that after meeting at a wedding, our first weekend trip together was to a wedding. Spencer's college friends got married, and Paige was introduced to his friend group for the first time.

May 27, 2023 - First Trip Together

We started the day with a coffee flight at Radina's in Manhattan, and ended the day flying over Holton to see Paige's parent's house from above. We also flew over Trisha and her parent's houses, who stood outside and waved to us from below! This was a celebration flight for Spencer completing his Commercial Single Engine Land license!!

July 11, 2023 - A Day of Flights

August 5, 2023 - First Concert Together

The sunflower fields north of Lawrence have been a favorite yearly visit for Paige- 8 of the last 10 years. The last 3 years she's been able to share this tradition with Spencer.

September 9, 2023 - First Flower Field

Our first sporting event together! Paige is a huge sports fan, and was thrilled to share in that with Spencer in the atmosphere of Arrowhead!!

October 22, 2023 - First Chiefs Game Together

Our first out of state roadtrip together- a magical mountain getaway to Colorado for Paige's birthday.

October 28, 2023 - To The Mountains

Our first sunflower showdown game together. Paige studied Nursing at KU, while Spencer studied Mechanical Engineering at KSU. Truly a house divided!Pictured is the most recent game we attended 10/25/25

November 18, 2023 - College Rivalry

Somehow St. Louis has become a regular stop for us over the last couple years.

April 18, 2024 - St. Louis

Spencer joined Paige and her fellow nurse friends for Nurses Night at the K.

May 3, 2024 - First Royals Game Together

Also, much to Spencer's surprise, Paige's first time trying Dippin' Dots.

June 19, 2024 - First Sporting KC Game Together

We spent 10 days roadtripping through many of the coastal cities in Florida. Orlando-Clearwater Beach-Sanibel Beach-Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Daytona Beach-St. Augustine

August 16, 2024 - Florida

Our first holiday spent together with our families! We enjoyed Thanksgiving Day with Paige's extended family, and Christmas Day with Spencer's family.

November 28, 2024 - Holidays Are Better Together

Paige took Spencer to his first KU Men's Basketball game inside Allen Fieldhouse!

February 11, 2025 - Pay Heed

We celebrated two years together with a weekend trip to Lake of the Ozarks. Spencer took the engagement ring with him, but did not propose. Paige accidentally found the ring halfway through the trip, but didn't tell Spencer!

March 28, 2025 - 2 Years

After careful thought and planning, Spencer surprised Paige with a trip to The Fun Farm in Kearney, MO where he swept her off her feet in a field of tulips. It’s crazy, did you know diamond rings grow in the center of tulips?

April 13, 2025 - I DO

Spencer's first time to Beaver Lake to stay with the Haughts for all of the annual 4th festivities.

September 4, 2025 - Engagement Photos

We traveled to Turks & Caicos to celebrate our friends’ 10 year wedding anniversary, as we prepare for the beginning of our own marriage. It was a beautiful vacation with wonderful people.

October 5, 2025 - First International Trip Together
