Spencer moved to Omaha in 2015 for work and Emily officially moved to Omaha in 2017. Emily lived downtown and Spencer lived out west. Our paths would mostly likely not have crossed without a little help from a dating app called Bumble. Spencer's leading line on his profile was "Not afraid to kill spiders." This caught Emily's eye since she lived in a ground floor apartment that had A LOT of spiders. Emily messaged Spencer and we hit it off right away!

Our first date was on a Tuesday night at Krug Park in the Benson area of Omaha. We went on two more dates over the weekend and Spencer asked out Emily on Monday. We've been going steady every since.

We have experienced many adventures during our four years together! We have traveled to Chicago, Italy, Mexico, and many other places. We have supported each other through our masters programs. And of course, we have tried to find the best margaritas and steaks in all of Omaha.

We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with everyone on August 6!
