What kind of gift should I bring?

If you have not heard, WE ARE MOVING TO AUSTIN, TEXAS! We are so very excited, but unfortunately, that does mean we have a very big move ahead of us. With that being said, money or gift cards (Lowes, Home Depot, Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Walmart, etc.) would significantly help us with costs of moving and furnishing our home once we get there. We kindly ask that you refrain from purchasing large items that are not included on the registry due to the limited space as we move.

What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. No white please! Gentlemen should wear either jacket & tie or suit & tie. No jeans please!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, but the cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting).

Can I take or post pictures?

We will be having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The best gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say, "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like! If you would like to post any images or videos you take, our only request is that you tag the bride and groom or use our wedding hashtag #shescoredashaw so we can see all of your pictures!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please mail your RSVP card back to us before Sunday, April 23, 2023. You will receive an RSVP stating the seats reserved for your party with your invitation.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your kids! But, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will there be a bar?

Yes! Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
