Hi Everyone!
It is our dream to get married in France surrounded by friends and family. We know it's a lot to ask and we are so grateful to each and every one of you for making our dream a reality.
Below is a chronological guide to the wedding events and travel recommendations for the weekend to make this as seamless as possible.
As you read this section, please remember that there are three important things for you to do: 1) you will NEED to have both doses of the COVID19 vaccine AND your BOOSTER shot to receive a French Vaccine Pass 2) have your passport and CDC card (proof of vaccination) ready for travel 3) book a room near the venue for the night of the wedding, May 28th, checking out May 29th (Moulin des Marais or B&B Hotel). We recommend you book sooner rather than later!
1. Travel to Paris (recommended May 25th or 26th)
2. Travel from Airport to Paris Hotel (recommended May 25th or 26th)
3. Transportation from Paris Hotel to Wedding Site (May 28th @ 11:00am)
4. Hotel for Wedding Night (Check-in May 28th @ 12pm, night of May 28th, checkout May 29th)
5. Wedding Ceremony & Reception (May 28th @ 4:00pm)
6. Travel Back to Paris at 10am followed by Seine River Cruise (May 29th @ 4:00pm)
1. Travel to Paris
You can fly into either Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORY). If you fly in before May 28th (we suggest flying in 2-3 days before the wedding to adjust for jet lag), we recommend staying at Plaza Tour Eiffel or Happy Hotels for a more budget-friendly option.
Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel
4-star hotel located near the Eiffel Tower and 15 minute walk from the bus pick up location on May 28th.
When booking, please write in the comments section “Stacey & Sean's Wedding" and the hotel will apply the 10% discount automatically when they receive the booking.
Happy Culture Hotels - Paris
Happy Culture operates 13 hotel properties in Paris, France ranging in rates from roughly 70€ to 200€ per night.
2. Travel from Airport to Paris Hotel
For transportation from the airport to your hotel in Paris there are several options:
1) Taxi - Taxis are readily available outside of all three terminals, and will take you only 45 minutes to reach the city centre.
Paris airport taxi rides at CDG are charged at a flat rate, and cost 55€ if your destination is on the right bank, and 60€ if it's on the left bank of Paris. There is no charge for luggage, however, they will charge 4€ per person in your party after the first 4 people.
At Orly Airport: Only taxis located in stations located at the gates of the arrivals levels are authorized to pick up customers. These official taxis are recognizable by the light sign on the roof of the vehicle. If you are approached at the exit of the baggage claim by people claiming to be taxis, we invite you to decline any transport proposal.
2) Reserve a private car with Black Road Limo, where a driver will meet you at the airport with a welcome sign. Please send your reservation request to vincent@black-road.fr and mention "Sean & Stacey's Wedding" - we have special rates shown below:

3) Taking a train from Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) is a fast and fairly cheap transfer option. The RER B train runs from Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) every 10 to 20 minutes, and takes around 50 minutes to reach the city centre. Tickets only cost 10€ one-way, and can be purchased at ticket booths in the arrivals terminal.
There are no direct train lines from Orly airport to the city centre of Paris. You will need to take the Orlyval metro to the Anthony Train Station, and then change to lines RER B or RER C. The total journey will cost 12.10€ and will take around 60 minutes.
Our recommendation is to take a taxi before you opt for an Uber as Uber can be expensive and unreliable in France.
3. Transportation from Paris to Wedding Site
On Saturday, May 28th at 11:00am, Black Road Limo Company will pick up our wedding guests to drive everyone to the hotels in Condécourt (Moulin des Marais or B&B Hotel depending on your preference). You will be able to check-in around 12pm, drop off your bags, and get ready for the ceremony at your hotel. At 3:00 - 3:30pm, transportation will be arranged to get you from the hotel to the wedding venue (10-15 minute ride). Please text Stacey or Sean if you are staying somewhere else and managing your own transportation so we have an accurate headcount.

Pick Up Date/Time: May 28th, 2022 @ 11:00am (please arrive 20 minutes before to ensure timely departure)
Bring your luggage with you as you will be spending the night in Condécourt after the wedding reception.
4. Hotel for Wedding Night
The wedding venue is about 45 minutes outside of Paris, and because of this we would like everyone to stay in Condécourt for the night of the wedding.
We ask that you call or go online to reserve your room at one of the two hotel options listed below:
Transportation will be provided to and from both of these hotels. You can also feel free to secure lodging at another nearby hotel, but will need to arrange your own transportation if you choose to do so.
B&B HOTEL - Option 1
Please note in the comments section "Sean and Stacey Wedding" and the hotel will apply our negotiated rate once they process the reservation.
Hôtel du Moulin des Marais - Option 2
This hotel has 18 rooms that are available on a first come first serve basis.
5. Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Chateau de Villette
Pick Up Time: 3:00pm (B&B Hotel) 3:30pm (Moulin des Marais)
Attire: Black Tie
For Men: This generally means dark suits with a tie or bow tie
For Women: Here is your chance to break out a nice gown, fancy cocktail dress, or even a chic suit ;)
Keep in mind this is outdoor and you will be walking on gravel, cobblestone, and grass (ladies, we recommend chunky heels).
Wedding Ceremony: 4pm
Cocktail Hour: 5pm - 6:45pm
Dinner & Reception: 7:00pm - 2am
Transportation back to Moulin des Marais and B&B hotel will run once at 11:30pm and once at 2am when the party concludes.
We have arranged for transportation back to Paris at 10am on the morning of May 29th, and will drop everyone off at Plaza Tour Eiffel.

6. Farewell - Seine River Cruise
On Sunday, May 29th, we invite everyone to join us on a Seine River Cruise aboard The Montebello! It will be a great opportunity to enjoy beautiful views of Paris, cocktails, & dinner. Since it’s Memorial Day Weekend and most companies have off on Monday, we hope you will join us for this fun farewell on Sunday evening.
Time: 4pm - 8pm
