147 Days To Go!

From an Icy Encounter to a Warm Forever
Sometimes love comes barreling into your life when you least expect it—quite literally in our case. It was a cold, icy winter morning, and the Idaho Falls C&B parking lot was more of a skating rink than a road. Stacey was carefully navigating the slippery terrain, coffee in hand, trailer in tow, when out of nowhere, Andrew comes wondering around the corner. Causing Stacey to slam on the brakes making the truck and trailer slide 10 feet to a stop a few inches from Andrew. Thankfully, there were no injuries (though there may have been a startled scream or two). What could have been a disaster turned into the beginning of something neither of us could have predicted.
From Collision to Connection
After that memorable near-miss, Stacey and Andrew couldn’t stop running into each other—this time intentionally! Working for the same company meant unexpected trips to each other's stores, countless hallway conversations, and eventually, a growing friendship that neither could ignore. It wasn’t long before seeing each other at work turned into dinner and hanging out on the weekends.
The Journey Together
Over the years, we’ve shared countless adventures, from moving houses and apartments four times in one year to spontaneous weekend adventures. We’ve built a relationship filled with support, stubbornness, humor, and a shared appreciation for life’s little surprises (including unexpected icy mornings). Whether it’s binge watching our newest TV show or taking yet another 12 hour road trip, we just like doing things together.
The Proposal
Andrew knew the proposal had to be unforgettable. On July 20th, Andrew had his best friend Lisa fly out for what he said was his early birthday weekend. He also had his friend Ashley drive over from Wyoming so that we could all go to a rodeo in Jackson Hole together. After the rodeo we all went over to the Cowboy bar which is right across the street from the antler arches. When we were on our way back to the hotel, we stopped to take pictures under the arches. While Andrew and Stacey were taking their picture Andrew got down on one knee. And after a very long pause he managed to squeak out “Will you marry me?” Obviously the answer was a very excited “Yes!”
Why We’re Excited to Say ‘I Do’
Our love story started with an unexpected twist, and it’s been a wild, wonderful ride ever since. We’re so excited to officially start this new chapter together, surrounded by our amazing friends and family who’ve supported us every step of the way.We can’t wait to celebrate our forever with you on October 11th. We cannot wait to see you all there!
