I Love You More

“When I say I love you more, I don’t mean I love you more than you love me. I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us. I love you more than any fight we will ever have. I love you more than the distance between us. I love you more than any obstacle that could ever try and come between us. I love you the most.”

His Side of the Story

I knew there was something special about her when I met Stacey. I was drawn in right away by her. Her beautiful eyes locked me in instantly. Immediately I could see the strong common values and beliefs that we held as we talked and began to tell who we were. The more and more I learned about her, her story, and her journey, the quicker I fell. It did not take long for me to realize that the relationship she and I were building was something different, extraordinary, and a once in a lifetime love. It’s been a long exciting journey with its ups, downs, and many moments of happiness and joy. I cannot say that I would be the person I am without her. I look forward to walking down the aisle with Stacey and spending the rest of my life with her. I love you so much Stacey.

Her Side of the Story

I almost didn’t show up to our first date. I was nervous, anxious, and wasn’t sure I wanted to get back into the “dating scene”. We were set up by mutual friends, and my first thought when I saw Eric was “oh he is short, I shouldn’t have worn my heels”. Eric planned our first date, we had dinner and then went to GameWorks. He listened to me nervously ramble on about who knows what and as the date when on, I learned how much we had in common. The most important detail being, he is more of a picky eater than I am, which is nearly impossible. He is the only other adult I know whose first choice on the menu is chicken fingers and fries. After spending hours together, I forgot where I parked my car in the parking garage at Newport. I was so embarrassed, but Eric walked the ENTIRE parking garage with me until we found my car. Eric made sure my car unlocked and then said he wanted to take me out again, to which I replied yes. He turned to walk away, and I said, “aren’t you going to kiss me?” – I only think he did because I asked. I spent the night at my friend Emily’s apartment and I remember when Eric text me to make plans for another date. I was so happy, and Emily said, “he could be the one”. I never imagined I could love someone as much as I love Eric. He is kind, patient, loving, and encouraging. He knows everything about me, including my flaws, and loves me anyway. I am so grateful I decided to show up on our first date, I can’t imagine my life without Eric.
