1984 was a great year - Apple released the first Mac, Summer Olympics where in LA and the births of Stacey Robin Maya and Joshua David Carter.

Stacey grew up in Brooklyn, NY alongside her older sister Rachel and her parents Linda & Israel (you may know him as Izzy/Iz/Iz Mon). She loved dancing and performing throughout her entire life. Stacey attended Ithaca College as a Theatre Arts Management major and worked for 10+ years in the performing arts. She is now project managing at a new creative agency in midtown NYC and keeps the theatre as a passionate hobby.

Josh grew up a mere 16 miles away from Stacey in Bayside - Queens, NY with his parents Karen & Gerald (aka Gerry). Growing up Josh always loved animals, especially his cat, Tiger. He was always adventurous and this quality stands true today. From snowboarding down double black diamond trails to jet-skiing to jet-boarding and we cannot forget his passion for going 30+ mph on his electric skateboard! Josh does not fear living on the edge.

In July of 2016 both Josh and Stacey took a chance on JSwipe and set up a date for August 3, 2016. Josh being shy and Stacey being....verbose, no surprise they hit it off. After dating a few weeks, Stacey met Molly (Josh's dog) and the two started making regular trips across the east river.
