The story of Brandon and Staci is a story about two co-workers that become best friends, high school sweethearts and now fiancée's. In order to understand the couple, you have to be familiar of the story of how it all started.
According to Staci the story starts like this “I remember Brandon being a quiet blonde with the most pretty blue eyes I have ever seen. He would always be seen with me making me laugh or getting me in trouble for talking. While working at Kroger together we shared so many memories like working in snow storm, a rain snow storm and many late nights. We would always be seen at the end laughing about any and every thing. It was so easy to form a friendship with him and it formed so quick. I could not help it, I enjoyed every shift him with, he always seemed to make those long shifts shorter. I wanted to spend more time with him, so we finally started to spend time outside of the Kroger walls. We went to the movies, beat him in put-put and go karting. It was so fun driving around town in his white 1998 Toyota Corolla with a rusted brown hood and crank down windows. Then summer ended and I would see him in the hallways at school and not as much at work, but we stayed in touch. One shift, his friend kept asking me questions about my favorite flowers, favorite candy and color. Once work ended, there Brandon was standing in his uniform in front of that car with blue hydragenas and a homecoming sign. Who knew that a yes in 2015 would turn into a yes to a life
Since that first homecoming dance we would attend two proms and one more homecoming and watch each others graduation. We made it out of high school! I graduated first and attended college, tried to figure out what I wanted to do. Then Brandon graduated highschool and decided to go to Bowling Green University. I followed him to BG were we had a blast being commuters on campus, occasionally driving that Toyota around. Then the day came to graduate. We graduated on the same day - it was such cool experience sharing that moment with each other. Once we graduated it was time to get our own little home (plus a chunky cat).
We have shared so many milestones that some people experience alone. We grew up together. We have always been a constant. Watching each other grow individually and professionally, observing each other's families grow by adding nieces or nephews, grieving family members, seeing new partners enter, watching family pets go, witnessing new friendships grow and adding new memories just for us to know. There has been so many laughs shared, movies watched, places travelled and games of put-put won since 2015. All because Brandon had the courage to ask the girl and I had the excitement to say yes, we get to create more memories, watch more growth and share more laughs for a life time.
The dance that started it all!
