October 21, 2022 — We start chatting online. Stacia thinks, "Oh, good. The first normal guy I've talked to." (Tim gets a good laugh about that later.) Tim notices Stacia likes reading and has a passion for teaching, both positives for him.

November 15, 2022 — We meet at Vitale's for the first time. Tim thinks about how easy it is to talk to Stacia for several hours. At the end of the date, Stacia thinks to herself, "I could marry this guy."

December 2023 — Tim finds he enjoys spending time with Stacia a lot, but worries our busy schedules don’t leave much time for each other. Tim’s friends encourage him to let the relationship develop and not to worry so much.

January-April 2023 — We continue to date. Tim’s friends begin noticing how much happier he is since he’s been dating Stacia. Tim notices how deep our serious conversations can get, but also how funny Stacia can be when she wants.

May 2023 — Stacia meets Tim's parents. She's told that means he's serious about the relationship.

July 2023 — Tim meets Stacia's parents. They are very impressed with him.

September 2023 — Tim meets Stacia's sisters, nieces, and nephew. He survives and isn't scared off.

Thanksgiving 2023 — Tim spends a whole week with Stacia's family. They like him, and Stacia's niece Alexis insists on calling him "Uncle Tim."

December 21, 2023 — Stacia's roommate becomes engaged. Tim starts thinking seriously about our relationship.

Christmas 2023 — Stacia and Tim spend five days with each of our respective families. We both find that we greatly enjoy having that much time together. Talk turns to marriage.

January 2024 — Tim tells his parents he’s planning on proposing. They suggest using the diamond from his grandmother’s ring in Stacia’s engagement ring.

February 15, 2024 — We officially become engaged. Tim proposes at his house before dinner (due to the presence of candles), then we go to Margaux for a celebratory dinner.

February 16-18, 2024 — We travel to Wheaton for Tim's grandma's funeral and announce our news to Tim's family.

July 27, 2024 — We are getting married.
