Stacie and Timmy met in February 2022 when both of them went out to dinner with the same group of people at Max and Erma's. The group included her parents and his dad, who have known each other for at least 20 years. Timmy sat across from Stacie and her mom and they chatted throughout the entire night. Stacie had just moved back to Ohio in 2020 after living in North Carolina for 13 years. Timmy remained in Ohio after high school and was working as a Sergeant for a police department in Cleveland. The night ended with an awkward half hug and that was it.
Well, Timmy's father had a birthday coming up the next month, which brought them all together again (with some planning by Timmy). At this time, Timmy planned to ask Stacie for her number at least. However, his dad and her uncle tried to intervene and just embarrassed them both! There was no awkward hug or attempt this time due to the equal embarrassment and that was that.
The next day, Stacie sent a Facebook friend request to Timmy, which he accepted. Then later that day she sent him a message. This was the start of it all. After messaging, exchanging numbers and then texting all day, Timmy asked her out on a date and the rest is history! There is not a day since where they haven't talked to each other.
The first date didn't go as planned whatsoever but ended up being the best ever! They ended up at Condado for dinner, then Dairy Queen for dessert and spent two hours in the parking lot just talking and eating ice cream. This set the stage for almost every date after that. Stacie and Timmy said "I Love You" to each other for the first time in the Mitchell's Ice Cream parking lot. And that is where the proposal took place in front of both our families.
After months and months of planning, the stage was set. Timmy, working with a team of people including family and friends (near and far), knew this was going to be a memory of a lifetime. As hours turned into seconds, it was time to drive to Mitchell's. Timmy knew in the back of his head both their families were already there with strict instructions to make this a total surprise. As they pulled into the parking lot and turned the corner, both families were standing outside waiting for their arrival! It was chaos and the plan was ruined but not skipping a beat Timmy got out of the truck and proceeded with the plan like nothing happened. Stacie was still in the truck on FaceTime with Olivia and her kids, who all tried very hard to keep her attention on th and not what was going on outside the truck. Timmy calmly walked inside and got the ice cream cake he had ordered that said "be my wife?” then walked outside and waited for Stacie to get out of the truck. Olivia and her kids had a very special post it note (a la Greys Anatomy) to lead up to Stacie getting out. As soon as she did, Timmy proposed to Stacie and the rest is history!
Stacie and Timmy live together with their dog, Pennie. They travel, attend sporting events, celebrate their birthday (which is the same day), enjoy Christmas for more than a month as the King and Queen of Christmas, spend lots of time with both of their families and lots of time eating ice cream!!
