How they met..

Ethan and Stacie met at Ripon College in the fall of 2015. They had a couple classes together freshman year and had many mutual friends on campus. Ethan was studying business and played football. Stacie was going for educational studies and played volleyball. They stayed in touch throughout college, and eventually began their love story after graduation.

Dating..

On June 1st, 2019 Ethan asked Stacie to be his girlfriend after a morning of grabbing coffee together. Of course she said yes!

Throughout four+ years of dating Ethan and Stacie enjoyed many special moments and events together. They supported each other with their first "big kid" jobs, spent many weekends with family and friends, traveled, moved and became an aunt and uncle! Ethan and Stacie love their time outdoors; hunting, fishing, disc golfing, going to sporting events, coaching football/volleyball, their tradition of going to Minocqua every summer, and getting a good old fashion together!

The Engagement..

During the summer of 2023, Ethan and Stacie had a couple trips planned. Stacie was very excited to go to Nashville, Tennessee for the first time! It was going to be a weekend full of live country music, boots and good drinks. On Saturday June 24, Ethan asked Stacie if she wanted to try a winery outside of Nashville. (Of course she said yes- wine is her favorite) They made the drive to Arrington Vineyards and had a wine tasting scheduled. It was a blast and the place was beautiful. After trying some delicious wine, Ethan asked Stacie if she wanted to go take pictures at the top of a hill to capture the whole place. Little did Stacie know that on the walk up to the hill, Ethan had a big plan! As they got to the top, Ethan got down on one knee and asked to spend forever together. It was the best surprise as Stacie was totally caught off guard! Even better, Ethan had a photographer there to capture the moment. It was everything and more Stacie could ever of dreamed of. It was a trip the couple will never forget!
