It is a small city about 30 miles north of the city of San Francisco. Some descriptors for the area include: suburban, mostly residential, cooler temperatures, very hilly, small very charming downtown area, near a larger city of San Rafael right off Highway 101.

Expect temperatures in the 80s to 90s with little humidity. The venue has indoor and outdoor spaces, with plenty of shade in the outdoor areas.

We have blocked off rooms at the nearby Embassy Suites by Hilton for Sunday and Monday nights. Extended reservations at the same hotel can be extended at the standard rate. We can pass along the information to the event planner of the hotel so the hotel will know you are with the wedding party when you arrive. ***Our reservation link can now be found on the Travel page.

We selected this venue, not just because of its natural beauty, but because we know all of our guests are coming from long distances. This venue is centrally located between 3 different airports that should work for everyone. There will not be an airport shuttle, however we advise you to rent a car and Uber, Lyft, etc. is very popular here in the bay area.

Dietary requirements can be communicated on your RSVP. Beer and wine will be provided for a limited time. There is a cash bar afterwards.

We will be on our way to a mini honeymoon, likely still in California. We plan to officially honeymoon in 2026 internationally.
