I am so thrilled to have my dear friend Sarah by my side on this special day. Our friendship began in middle school, and since then, we’ve shared countless memories, supported each other through thick and thin, and watched one another grow. From silly moments to life-changing milestones, Sarah has always been there. Having her with me on my wedding day is truly a full-circle moment, and I couldn’t imagine celebrating this chapter of my life without her. Here's to many more years of laughter and friendship ahead!
Caity Vermillion - Maid of Honor
I’m beyond grateful to have Caity by my side on this special day. We’ve been friends since middle school, and through the years, she’s become more like a sister to me than just a friend. Caity has been there for every moment, supporting and encouraging me in ways only a sister could. I’m so lucky to have her as part of my life, and it means the world to me to have her standing beside me on my wedding day. Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories together!
Pirate John - Groomsman
It's hard to capture all that Pirate is in a short paragraph. I've known Pirate almost as long as I've lived in Oregon. We spend most of our time together camping, which means building massive fires in the dead of winter. But he's always a text or phone call away. If you need a sarcastic remark, Pirate has one. If you need directions to a cool bar, Pirate has them. If you need a whitewater guide, Pirate will run the river with you. If you need a shoulder to lean on, Pirate has two. We may go months between camping trips, but every time we get back together, it's a fire, a beer, a bottle of whiskey, and stew to share. We all need a Pirate in our lives.
Doc Hoss - Groomsman
I've known Hoss almost as long as I've lived in Oregon. We started running together in late 2008 and after he introduced me to cross country skiing in Jan 2009 I knew I'd found a fellow adventuring tribesman. We trained for plenty of races together and there's something about sharing the trial of miles with someone else that isn't easily recorded with mere words. Being another camping buddy means that I've got company for exploring Oregon's logging roads and building massive fires. Like with Pirate, months may go between camping trips , but when we get back together there's a fire, a beer, a bottle of whiskey, and a breakfast scramble.
