Our Wedding

Our Story

Stacy and Chris met shortly after finishing their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. They were introduced by two close friends that were also dating at the time, who are in the wedding party, Casey Adams and Cam Casey. Stacy and Chris starting dating shortly thereafter before moving to New York City in 2021. Since, Stacy and Chris have spent their time exploring the city and travelling around the world, including France, Thailand and Singapore, where Chris proposed! Stacy and Chris chose Aspen, CO for their wedding destination as it is where they had their first trip as a couple.

Ute Trail (difficult) - steep hike but great views of the town. Stacy and Chris's first hike together in Aspen! East Aspen Trail (easy) - flat trail that goes east out of town along the Roaring Fork River. American Lake Trail (difficult) - steep hike outside of town, but great hike to a mountain lake. The Grotto's (easy) - head up toward Independence Pass and take a short hike to the Grotto's to view caves and rapids on the Roaring Fork River. There are also countless other trails, we encourage you to consult AllTrails or Google to find a hike that suits you!

Hike

The Maroon Bells are famous peaks in Aspen that sit above a mountain lake providing picturesque views. You can book a reservation to ride the bus up to the base of Maroon Bells here: https://www.visitmaroonbells.com/ . There are great hikes in the area, particularly the route to Crater Lake!
