What started off as a friendly "hello" turned into an everlasting love.

While we met for the first time in 2017 through our mutual love of K-pop, our story officially began a year later in 2018 in Las Vegas because of BTS... and surprisingly, Kelly Clarkson. Through our similar friend group and through attending similar events/concerts, we began developing a strong friendship, which eventually led to something more.

Our feelings which had already been steeping gradually, fully brewed during our Korea trip in May 2019. We realized that the close relationship we had was something we didn't want to let go of and we didn't want the fear of starting a long distance relationship become the regret of our lifetime. So we jumped in and gave our love a chance.

And boy, are we glad that we did!

Through our many cross country and outside of the country adventures, we have laughed, eaten lots of foods (especially garlic knots), attended a variety of concerts, and fallen deeper for each other. Even the time difference and the East Coast-West Coast distance couldn't stop us wanting to spend all our time with each other.

We finally found what we've been looking for.

And so, at the place where we had our first conversation (in front of the Bellagio Fountain in Vegas) and ironically, during the concert weekend of Kelly Clarkson (who was the subject of our first ever conversation), we got engaged.

We are so excited to join our families and cultures together as well as vow our love and commitment to each other in front of all our loved ones! Thank you so much for being part of the "start of something new" <3
