Flying In to Boston

photo

Boston Logan International Airport [BOS]

Logan Airport has four terminals: A, B, C, and E. They are connected by walkways, shuttle buses, and the free "Massport Shuttle" service. Shuttle buses run frequently between terminals, rental car centers, and public transit stations & offers free Wi-Fi throughout all terminals called "BOSWifi" Boston Logan interactive terminal map

* Domestic flights: Plan to arrive at least 2 hours before departure.

* International flights: Give yourself 3 hours minimum.

* Peak congestion times? Early mornings between 5 and 8 a.m. and evenings between 4 and 7 p.m. are the worst. Add in construction or seasonal delays, and you’ll be thankful you left a buffer.

Also, make sure to keep your boarding pass and identification handy, as you will need them for check-in and at security. If you’re bringing liquids, remember the 3-1-1 rule: only 3.4 ounces or less of liquids, all in a quart-sized bag, are allowed through security.

Option 1- Ferry Boston to PTown, then Uber to Orleans

My favorite option because the ferry is so fun to ride on & peaceful with great views.

Step 1) Ferry to Provincetown [1.5 hr | $87 each way]

Or lyft or get picked up by someone

Option 2- Drive: Boston to Orleans

Be aware of traffic here, especially rush hour-- 1 hr 40 min is best case scenario & driving in Boston can be stressful with lots of traffic and difficult onramps.
