Stacy and Ben meet on the internet (aka a dating app) and decide on ice cream for their first date. Second, third, and fourth dates quickly follow, including more sweets, hiking, comedy shows, cooking meat, lots of walks, and Ben convincing Stacy to go to Pullman to meet his sister at WSU.

Stacy and Ben introduce each other to all the important people in their lives. Due to Ben's unparalleled love for his alma mater and college football, he buys Stacy her first Boise State shirt, and she soon returns the favor with a UW sweatshirt.

Stacy and Ben travel to New York for their first big trip together and Ben's first time to NYC. Ben starts a new job after the new year. Ben buys Stacy a cake with her face on it for her birthday, which he still talks about...

Stacy found in Ben someone who always says yes to ice cream, or whatever dessert she wants to try, and knows that a selfie must be taken. There were SEVERAL Salt & Straw dates between weddings and travel to Pullman, Hawaii, and Dallas. Stacy and Ben move in together!

Stacy and Ben attend family trips to Suncadia and Vashon Island, special places for both. To celebrate their one-year anniversary, Stacy and Ben take their first trip to Boise together, a place she will quickly love as much as Ben does!

More travel - Hemphill family trip to Whitefish, vacation to Chicago, back to Boise for Stacy's first BSU football game on the Smurf Turf. Through Ben's idea and Stacy's execution, Cereal Killer Cookies is born. Ben's other love, Lord of the Rings, inspires their Halloween costumes: Arwen and Aragorn.

The Cereal Killer Cookies business grows with its first pop up! Stacy and Ben also make a last-minute 16-hour trip to Scottsdale for the Waste Management golf tournament, another one of Ben’s favorite things.

Stacy turns 30 and starts a new job. She takes Ben to the motherland (aka Brazil) to spend ten days in Rio de Janeiro. Ben does not learn any Portuguese, but several locals mistake him for a professional athlete. For Ben’s birthday, Stacy takes him on his first sea plane. Cereal Killer Cookies signs a kitchen lease!

To celebrate their two year anniversary, Stacy and Ben hike in Mt. Rainier National Park. They take a Hemphill family trip to the Oregon coast, where Ben grew up visiting. They throw a tailgate for the UW versus BSU football game, something Ben had been talking about since they started dating! Stacy and Ben spend their weekends at weddings or Cereal Killer Cookies pop ups.

Even with football season well underway, Ben finds time to propose to Stacy on a morning walk in downtown Kirkland at the park where they had one of their first dates <3
