Kelsey and I met each other in middle school. We rode the same bus and he lived 4 streets over. Also on that bus my best friend and Maid of Honor Jessica McBride (now Smith) and Kelsey's Best Friend/Man Jon Slack. Kind of amazing, if you think about it....

In middle school, Kelsey and I did not know each other very well, but we had mutual friends. Once in High School, Kelsey and I became friends but just friends, never thinking of each other in a romantic way. We even went to school dances and hung out....with our own dates of course!

Our friendship really started to flourish when we both got the same first job at the local McDonald's. Awww nothing says love story quite like knowing each other back when you were forced to wear visors for minimum wage. Still just friends (and dating other people) Kelsey and I enjoyed working together at McDonald's every Saturday night (I refered to him as my Saturday Boyfriend)

Years, and years, and years later, we realized that our feelings for each other have moved past the point of friendship. Then, in April of 2012 we decide to start dating! Yay!!

Now after almost 5 years, and with a beautiful Husky puppy we are going to tie the knot!!

While on trip to Las Vegas with Stacy's parents to celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary, Kelsey proposed on top of the Stratosphere.

The night started with dinner on Top of the World, which gave beautiful 360 degree views of Las Vegas. Then, after dinner they went up to the observation deck and with all the beautiful lights Kelsey got down on one knee and asked Stacy to marry him. To which she said YES!! ( However she was thinking "about damn time!")
