Once upon a time, in a land not so far away (and definitely not a swamp), there lived a Sarah who went about her days believing she had already met everyone she was meant to meet. Little did she know, she had been sharing friend circles with her future husband for an entire year—passing like ships in the night—while fate waited patiently for its cue.

Enter Stavros, who, after hearing from his roommate that Sarah was someone worth meeting, bravely joined an indoor volleyball league for reasons that had very little to do with volleyball. And so, in November 2024, amidst serves, sets, and the echo of sneakers on gym floors, destiny finally cleared its throat and introduced them.

Their first outing left Sarah wondering… was that a date? The answer remained unclear until the second outing, when Stavros arrived bearing flowers, instantly revealing his intentions like a true fairytale hero. They went to dinner, talked long after the plates were cleared, and somehow hours vanished as if enchanted.

Fast forward to July 19, 2025, when Stavros led Sarah to the breathtaking beauty of Glacier National Park. There, surrounded by mountains and magic, he got down on one knee. Completely stunned, Sarah blurted out, “Are you serious right now?”—a perfect mix of disbelief and joy—before saying yes.

And so, what began with volleyball and a rumor became a love story full of surprises, laughter, and just the right amount of fairy-tale timing.
