How should I travel to Italy?
The closest city is Rome, and we recommend flying into Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport which has direct flights from Stockholm (SAS, Norwegian, Eurowings) and from Toronto (Air Canada, Lufthansa, ITA, Air Transat).
How can I get to the Castello?
We are offering a shuttle from Rome (see next question for info) available for guests who wish to take it.
Alternatively, you can take the train to Orvieto from Rome (runs very often, takes 1-1.5hrs) and book a taxi from Orvieto.
Finally, you can rent a car in Rome and drive yourself--it is approx. a 2 hour drive from the FCO airport or Rome Central.
What are the shuttle times?
Shuttlebuses from FCU Rome Airport to the Castello will depart at:
11:00 AM and
14:30 PM.

Shuttlebuses from the Castello back to the FCU Rome Airport will be after checkout at 10:30 AM.
Where can I stay for the wedding?
You are ALL invited to stay with us at the Castello di Titignano! The price is 80 EUR per person / per night (160 EUR per person for both nights) and can be paid at the hotel.
Where should I stay while in Rome?
Totally up to you - we recommend HT6 Roma or the Double Tree by Hilton Rome.
What is the dress code?
For the wedding, the dress code is:
English: Formal cocktail attire (with suit, can be a lighter colour/linen),
[Swedish: Kavaj]
For the welcome dinner the night before, smart summer casual works perfectly!
Where is the registry / what gifts would you like?
We know it's a big undertaking to make the journey to Italy to share this celebration with us, so your attendance is gift enough.

When does the ceremony start?
The ceremony will start at 16:00 on May 31st.
What will the weather be like?
We'll know more closer to the date, but the end of May & early June in the Umbria mountains should be sunny and warm, around 25C.
We have indoor celebration options should it rain.
Is there parking available at the Castello?
Yes, there is free parking at the Castello.

What should I bring?
Food and drinks will be taken care of at the Castello, but it's a little out of town so please consider that when packing. Don't forget your bathing suit (there is a pool), sunblock, bug spray, wedding clothes, and any medications you might need.
Are children or pets allowed?
Children and pets are a blessing but this is a child and pet-free wedding. Breast feeding babies are welcome to join mom.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Pictures are welcome at all times except during the ceremony, where we want everyone to be present with us. The professional photographers will ensure there are some great photos to share!
